NOW SEEING PATIENTS IN:
Texas • California • Arizona • Puerto Rico
Dermatologist-led, always
Every patient is cared for directly by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Jeannette Olazagasti—from your initial evaluation through follow-up care. Your treatment is never delegated to a rotating network of providers or determined by an algorithm. As an independent, physician-owned practice, every decision is guided by clinical expertise, continuity, and personalized care.
Whole-person care
Healthy skin starts with understanding the whole picture. Rather than treating symptoms alone, we consider the factors that may be contributing to your condition—including hormones, lifestyle, stress, and environmental influences—to create a treatment plan tailored to you. When appropriate, we also coordinate with your laboratory and other specialists to support your care.
Ongoing support
Your care doesn't end with a treatment plan. Through the Patient Portal, you can securely message your care team with questions, updates, or concerns throughout your treatment. As your skin changes, we'll continue to provide guidance, monitor your progress, and adjust your treatment plan to help you achieve the best possible results.
Our doctor
Jeannette Olazagasti, MD, MS
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST Dr. Jeannette Olazagasti is a board-certified dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she earned her medical degree from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she was awarded several academic scholarships and was inducted into the distinguished Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society for academic excellence. During her medical education, she also completed a Master of Science program in clinical research at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Olazagasti completed her internal medicine internship and her dermatology residency at the world-renowned University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as a member of the Texas Medical Society and Skin of Color Society.
Growing up on a Caribbean island, Dr. Olazagasti noticed how skin cancer education was lacking in the general population. After her grandfather succumbed to skin cancer, she chose to pursue a career in dermatology to diagnose and treat skin cancers and to also educate patients on sun safety practices and how to recognize early signs and symptoms of skin cancer. Dr. Olazagasti enjoys treating patients of all ages and skin types, and she is an expert in the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. She has a special interest in skin cancers, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and eczema. She has numerous publications in prominent medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Journal of the American Medical Association Dermatology to name a few.
Dr. Olazagasti is fluent in Spanish and proud to take care of Spanish speaking patients, who often experience issues in their health management because of a language barrier.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Olazagasti enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. Her hobbies include yoga, writing poetry, and playing the piano.
